SPPU Engineers
A production-grade ed-tech platform for SPPU engineering students, centralizing academic resources, internships and opportunities across 100+ colleges. It has generated ₹4.1L+ in revenue from 3,672 paid enrollments, and driven 6.35M+ Google Search impressions with 272K+ organic clicks. Built with Firebase authentication, automated Cashfree payment workflows, and an admin dashboard that manages content, revenue and enrollments in real time.
Problem
SPPU engineering students face fragmented access to academic and career resources. Notes and previous year papers are scattered across Telegram and WhatsApp groups, and there's no single SPPU-focused platform for internships, scholarships and events. Students end up missing opportunities simply because the information lives in ten different places.
Solution
Built a Next.js 15 platform with server-rendered pages, same-origin API routes and a typed service layer over Firebase. Authentication supports Google sign-in, magic links and mobile OTP, along with device-session management so a student can see and revoke logins from any device. Payments run through one idempotent fulfillment path shared by the Cashfree webhook, a polling fallback and a cron backstop, so a duplicate or delayed confirmation never double-charges a student or double-grants access. A 17-section admin panel handles content, users, payments and an in-house analytics pipeline built directly on Firestore aggregation.

- •An in-house analytics pipeline showing real-time revenue and conversion-funnel breakdowns by branch, semester and pattern
- •Google Search Console integration that syncs real search performance into the admin dashboard every day through a cron job
- •Firestore security rules backed by a dedicated emulator test suite, with default-deny access on sensitive collections
- •Server-rendered architecture using the Next.js App Router, with ISR and cached PDF streaming from Cloud Storage
- •An installable PWA with offline fallback through a custom service worker
